Krimson City [Mind of a Madman]

A city has been demolished. It's like someone's memories have all been shoved together. The world is nothing like one would expect. It appears mostly empty except for the abominations of the people that had died at the hands of Ruvik. Contaminating the world of his mind with a disease that makes one want to kill themselves or want to kill the ones around them. Opening his arms only to one person. One that could easily allow him a life into the real world. Surviving in such a world is difficult. Whatever happened to this man... Seems to deep for it to be reversed. Murderous intent and a dangerous attitude makes Ruvik unpredictable. Being stranded in his world isn't an ideal dream. For he can do as he pleases and no where is safe. With this world being created in his mind and all.... He knows every hiding spot. He can also alter the world around him.

Collectively they were possibly losing their minds. In a way Leslie knew better, but he couldn't tell anyone. He wasn't able to. Even as he traveled with Sebastian or Juli he couldn't get out what was going on around them. He knew... The man that was watching him and stalking him. plaguing him. Ruvik. With open arms the boy seemed to accept Ruvik, but at other times he was deathly frightened of him. It was kind of a mix. Even now as the boy was lost from the rest of the group that had been brought here the monsters seemed to leave him be. He was able to slip passed them. That was until the Keeper got ahold of him. Looking up at the terrifying being that had a safe for a head the boy shuddered. It wasn't interested in hurting him. Simply trapping him so that he couldn't get away. Caged... The boy looked around. He was frightened, but at the moment safe.

Knowing everyone and everything around him made things easy for Ruvik. Anyone could easily fall to him. Slowly his odd eyes took in the landscape around him. Who to start with first? A small smirk played over his lips. He could go after whomever he wanted. It would be simple really. Slowly he stepped over some of the broken building pieces that laid scattered over the roads. From what he cold feel Leslie was safe away from the other people that seemed insistent on keeping the boy away from him.

Not only was Sebastian looking for Leslie, but he was also searching for Joseph. He wasn't sure where they were or what was going on. It seemed like it was the end of the world. He ran a hand through his hair and then dropped his hand down to his side. Carefully he made his way through what looked to be a forest. What was going on with everything? Were they all losing their minds? Had he simply lost his mind?

Joseph glanced around the place. This was the second or third time that he had gotten lost and separated from Sebastian. This was getting to be a little annoying.

A growl came passed Ruvik's lips. Quickly he seemed to fade as if he hadn't even been standing there. He appeared behind the cat. He reached down picking it up by its scruff. He glared down at it angrily. He tilted his head off to the side and watched it quietly. A cat? He hadn't expected one to be around here.

Ruvik looked the cat over and then looked around the town. It was almost like he was trying to figure out where it belonged. After a moment the world shifted. It wasn't long before they stood in the middle of a mansion. The place was beautiful. Untouched by the decay of the world. It seemed like Ruvik had left this place the way it was. In truth this was his home. He sighed and looked around making sure no one had got there but him. He made all of the monsters there disappear and he set the kitten on the floor. What could a harmless cat do?

Ruvik turned his head towards the cat. A smirk came over his lips. With ease he accessed the memories of the cat. Normally animals wouldn't interest him in such a way, but since this animal had just spoken in the human language it was best to figure out why. It wasn't long before he seemed to collect up what he needed in the nekos memories. "You.... You aren't just a cat." He said slowly as if trying to make sense of it.

For a long time Ruvik simply watched it. He didn't know what he should think at the moment. He leaned back on his heels and seemed to be thinking over what he should do. Getting rid of it was always a good idea, but then again how was it going to foil his plans?

Ruvik looked at him. As long as the cat thing stayed here he was sure he wouldn't have any problems with it. He turned his head away and walked up the steps. He was going to the library to sit for awhile.

Ruvik reached the library and looked around. He remembered a lot of the stuff had happened to him here. Sighing he sat down in a chair and leaned back. You wouldn't think it, but he was tired. Even though he was simply in his own mind and stuck there. He probably shouldn't be tired, but he was.

Ruvik didn't feel the added weight to his lap. When he woke he however noticed something soft and furry under one of his hands. He looked down and lifted his hand up seeing the kitten. He tilted his head slightly. He wasn't use to anything really showing him affection.

Ruvik looked at the little creature curled up in his lap. He smiled faintly, but the smile didn't last long. It seemed to quickly fade. He leaned his head back and looked at the ceiling. He didn't feel like disturbing the little sleeping creature on his lap.

Ruvik felt the little ball of fur stir. He looked down at the small creature on his lap. He didn't know what made him keep the little thing alive. Maybe it was the fact that the little creature wasn't looking to get in his way. To escape this world he needed to go through Leslie. Take the boy over. He had a lot of people trying to stop him. Well one person trying to stop him. The other two didn't seem to know what was going on. At least that was a relief. Then there was the scientist who betray him. Not even that idiot had figured it out yet. Oh well... At least things were going smoothly for now.

Ruvik looked down at the kitten. He looked towards the window and watched the bird. Just a normal crow. A little bigger than normal, but nothing he had messed with. He sat the kitten on the floor and walked over to the window and scared the bird away.

ruvik turned towards him. He tilted his head slightly. He made his way down to the kitchen to get something for the odd cat being. He again shifted everything making it all look nice again. He was also able to make food appear. He sat it down at the dinning room table.
